This evening Airdrieonians F.C. and Partick Thistle F.C. will face off in the 2023/2024 season’s 1st leg quarter-final of the Premiership play-offs. Kick off starts at 7:45 PM at the North Lanarkshire side’s Excelsior Stadium.
The tie will see Airdrieonians F.C. come in as 4th ranked on the Scottish Championship table, while Partick Thistle F.C. came in on a slightly higher 3rd spot. With Airdrieonians F.C. winning two of its last five games and the Glasgow side settling for two draws on their last two matches, the Diamonds from North Lanarkshire may feel to be in the richer state of form.
The 2nd leg of the quarter-final will take place on Friday, 10 May at Firhill Stadium at the same 7:45 PM kick off time. The quarter-final will be eagerly followed by Kirkcaldy’s Raith Rovers F.C., whom will come up against the quarter-final winner in the semi’s as the Scottish Championship’s 2nd ranked team.
The Premiership play-off match will be broadcast live on BBC Scotland from 7:30 PM. With Friday’s 2nd leg of the Premiership play off quarter-final also being broadcast live on BBC Scotland.
