It is still a wee bit empty here, but I intend to change that very soon. Today I am excited to announce the launch of Football News Scotland, the go to place for the latest news on Scottish football.
As a Scottish football fan and a writer that recently moved to Scotland, it dawned on me that the creation of a news blog dedicated to Scottish Football would be a golden combination for me. Moreover, I noticed that there was a significant gap in the legacy media when it comes to Scottish football reporting, providing lots of focus on the big Scottish teams, while there is less attention for the larger Scottish football piramid. Aside that, I also found many of the legacy media platforms provided a poor user experience, filled with frustrating pop ups and sign up requests.
On Football News Scotland I want to provide a user friendly platform that brings unique, interesting, exciting and fun content about the beautiful Scottish game, which will be presented in a straightforward user friendly manner. Here you are going to find news stories from the Scottish Premiership and National Team to coverage of the Championship, Scottish cup, and the Scottish teams contending in European Football. I will also be sharing stories on the smaller, less legacy media covered teams from the rich lower divisions in Scotland.
Football News Scotland is a supporter of all Scottish football and intends to follow the rules of unbiased sport news journalism. This does not mean that you won’t find any opinion pieces here, but those will always be grounded in facts and separated from the main news content.
