Girona FC have come to an agreement with Aberdeen FC for the sign of Bojan Miovski today. The Scottish Premiership side is set to land a club record transfer fee of 6.8 million GBP for the North Macedonian striker.
The 25-year old is understood to be finalizing the paperwork with the Spanish side today, with the move to be officially announced imminently. The 6.8 million GBP transfer fee would make Miovski the biggest outgoing transfer in the club’s history, surpassing the transfer of Calvin Ramsay to Liverpool for 6.5 million GBP in 2022.
Miovski came to 44 goals for the Dons in 97 appearances. He joined Aberdeen back in 2022 for around £600,000 – arriving from MTK Budapest. Yesterday the striker still came on as a substitute at Pittodorie during Aberdeen’s match against St Mirren (3-1 win), after which he made an emotional round across the stands.
With Girona FC the striker will be able to play Champions League football. The LaLiga side finished third in the previous season, which automatically qualified them for the European competition’s group stage.
