Celtic F.C. announced today on their website to have secured the signatures of multiple youngsters from the club’s youth academy. The group of in total 9 players have signed their first professional football contract with the Glasgow club.
The talented teenagers that have secured themselves to last season’s Premiership champions include: Jack Thomson, Owen Hartington, Josh Mulgrew, Jacob Donnelly, Aodhan Taylor, Samuel Sedwell, Corey Shaw, Ezekiel Molife and Cameron Patterson.
Celtic F.C. has seen a number of their youth academy players reach the first team squad in recent years. Recent youth products from the club include Anthony Ralston, Stephen Welsh, James Forrest and captain, Callum McGregor. However, the vast majority of Celtic’s Youth Academy graduates never reach the first team squad and may end up playing elsewhere.
